Hello!

My name is Julie Perry, and this is my story.

I’m running for the Virginia House of Delegates in the 8th District to bring a fresh perspective to government. I’m not a Richmond insider; I’m a working teacher.

My father served in the United States Air Force, so growing up we moved around quite a bit—I learned the value of finding a place you could call home, and I found that here in Herndon with my husband, Mike. Education is a lifelong passion of mine—I get to live in my dream job every day, being a 9th and 10th grade world history public school teacher.

My focus is on the issues that matter closest to home:

• Backing the Blue
• Restoring Faith in our Elections
• Fiscal Accountability
• Preserving Right to Work

My pledge to the voters of the 8th District is simple: I will work harder and travel farther than anyone to understand the issues that matter the most to you, and to earn the responsibility of representing you in the House of Delegates.
